The crew is making great progress on installing our 18Kw solar system.
We paid US $12,800 for a 18Kw solar system with 36 Solar Panels, combiner, inverters and 48 Kw of batteries.
This system will allow us to power our entire house, run the AC’s at night and have a near zero electric bill which was the main goal.
We are installing the solar panels on the garage roof.
The reason for this is our house has a white roof to reflect the sun and keep the house cool.
We did not want the panels on the main house roof drawing more heat.
The entire solar system should be finished this week!
