Today I had to get the oil in the Honda Scoopy changed.
I stopped by a local shop here.
They dropped what they were working on and had the oil changed in 5 minutes.
The oil change itself is a simple process.
Loosen the drain bolt on the left lower side of the engine and drain the 1 quart of oil into a pan.
Re-tighten the drain bolt.
Then remove the plastic oil fill cap on the right hand lower engine and add 1 quart of oil.
As you may have noticed, this is just a boy that works at the shop.
He has a better future learning to be a mechanic than he would have if he was going to school.
Sad but true.
The oil change cost 150 thb or US $5 and took 5 minutes.
