Better Off With Family

The majority of expats that move to Thailand want to replicate their western style lives here at a lower cost.

Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Hua Hin and Phuket come to mind.

However, anywhere there are high numbers of expats, there are problems.

All kinds of crime, fighting, robbery, drugs, working illegally, you name it.

Living in rural Isaan, I do not have any of those problems because there are no other expats here near me.

For me, that is a good thing.

I do not feel a need to socialize with other expats.

I do not miss talking in English with others.

And none of the people on social media or trying to make a go on Youtube.

Those are the worst types.

Trying to spin the truth about life here for a few clicks.

I am more than content with family and friends in the village (All Thai)

No drama, no issues, kind people with good hearts.

Foreigners are bringing the kinds of bad behaviors many of us who move here were trying to move away from.

When that happens, the government cracks down on everyone, whether you deserve it or not.

Living a solitude life with family is so much better that living in an area of Thailand where expat’s causing problems are mounting up.
